There are may different ways of motorcycle custom painting. There are the old red and yellow flames. There are murals and pinstriping. These techniques have been around the longest and I'm sure will stay around for a long, long time.
There are new types of motorcycle custom painting that are very interesting. There is candy coating over a basic elaborate design where your tank is one color but you can see the design through it. Tribal flames that jaggedly cut back towards the front as well as flow to the back as a normal flame does. "Real fire" that through air brushing and many layers you create an effect that very much resembles real fire.
There are paints that change color in different light or on different angles. There is a types of paint takes on different effects like candy, granite, pearl, metallic, metal flake (like metallic than metallic).
Use one or more of the types along with flames, murals or graphics to make your own unique paint job.
